Per Diem is not a bonus, but linked to the number of travel days within your assignment. In the event the assignment ends earlier than projected, the remaining days of overpaid per diem will need to be repaid.
There are two options of repayment:
- Give the Assimilation Team approval to adjust your card to the correct amount, provided there are enough funds remaining on the card to cover the amount to be recouped.
- Utilize the Amazon payroll deduction process, in which funds can be pulled directly from your payroll check(s). This option also allows for the full amount to be broken up into payments, if needed.
Please note: The standard number of payroll deductions is up to 4. If there is a reasonable, extraordinary situation, this can be reviewed on a case by case basis.
